Texas and other states,
Plumber, electrician, Air Condition, Architect, Nurse, Doctor, chiropractor, (Tatoo artist ??)
Bar owner, Meat market, fuel sales, and on and on there is a reason for all of them..

so why not for carrying a concealed gun..??

There should be a course or test just like for all the above FOR OPEN CARRY
I don't recall anywhere it being a right to be a plumber or pilot, nurse or doctor.

Re: Two arrested at Austin Capitol during open carry rally

I carry OWB 90% of the time. With custom Kydex holster for a Pistol with laser/light combo, I could not be happier. I conceal under a light vest. After the new changes of the law of September 1 2013, I am not that worried about printing or if someone can detect that I am carrying. It does not matter anymore.

As for open carry, even when is legal to practice, it is wise to consider when and where to do OC. If you are at work is anyone going to OC for work?!!!

I do support it as matter of principle, however, as CC was passed it needs the right political methodology to happen. Be smart, be strong and you would prevail.
