Yes, other than laws, as you mentioned, plus carry methods, shoot/noshoot etc...

one of the positive of the long delay between the CHL class, and filing and then getting the plastic, is that you would have enough time to go over was the smal DPS booklet about the firearms laws and what is related to CHL.


One big enhancment rhat I think it could be mandated or even provided by TX DPS is CHL course book. I mean each CHL instrctor is given his version of what CHL class has to be. Why not providing CHL course book?

As I did, you learn more about 1) and 2) from this forum than any CHL class. The experience to attend the CHL class most likely is overwhelming for many. After few hours you would be fighting boredom and trying not sleep and staying focused. The number 3) that one has to learn in CHL is De-escalation.
