The other side of the story, is that if you shoot at DPC, better watch your Muzzle. If pointed anywhere higher than the burn, after the first warning you are out. At North Texas Practical shooters (IPSC/USPSA), if you point your firearm 90 degree to the down range while moving sideways on the course of fire, or while reloading, you are out!.

I shot at Collin County IDPA and that club do observe 100% of IDPA rules, 10 rds max, shoot from behind cover. I found it very restrictive compared to Dallas Pistol Club. There rules are more relaxed and you have both real world gun matches, personal defense matches and steel matches. All are fun but I prefer the real world gun and personal defense matches.

I shoot IPSC too.
