Re: New holster!
Sorry its taken so long to update on it. I got busy with all the other threads on here and completely forgot about it. This has turned out to be an excellent holster in my opinion, at least for me and my purposes. I have not tried to use it with my shirt tucked in because I am always in a t-shirt. T...

Re: Crossbreed SuperTuck vs. Comp-Tac MTAC
I use a crossbreed for my Taurus PT145 and love it. The body-side of it started a little rough but is now smooth. I went with the horsehide version since they said its better with sweat and I tend to sweat alot. The metal clips are great and hold tight. I started with the plastic ones but one broke ...

Re: Ordered CrossBreed Supertuck...
Good choice! I have one for my PT145 and love it! Very easy to put on and take off, matter of seconds. Plus I like the fact that I can change the cant angle and ride depth. I also have the horsehide version but different clips. When I bought mine I got the standard plastic ones but they soon broke. ...

Re: Help me find a Maxpedition dealer
Here is a place that is located in Shiloh shooting range. I got this info from another forum that I frequent. http://txtacticalsource.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and the forum link: http://www.texasguntalk.com/forums/tx-tactical-source/5177-maxpedition-gear.html&quo...

Re: Concealed Campus- More Garbage from Univ. Star
I just find it funny how scared these students are of guns. After doing some searching through the University Star's previous news items I saw a quote from the UPD Captain: Police Capt. Paul Chapa said the University Police Department’s staff consists of about 90 members. Of those members, 33 are st...

The article that I read says his name is Ryan Caskey. Here is what is on wfaa.com http://www.wfaa.com/sharedcontent/dws/dn/latestnews/stories/042809dnmetdpdimposter.3cac535.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It definitely will give the antis another reason to attack CHL ho...

Re: Carrying in Arkansas - 30.06 Equivalent?
I'm actually in the same boat as you are. That link you posted is the same one I found and printed out to carry with me on my trip. All in all it sounds like everything is the same as Texas except for the sign posting and I also read in there that "any licensee entering a private home shall not...

Re: When did you realize you needed self defense ?
I have always wanted to get my CHL but money was always tight so I kept putting it off. Last May I bought my first handgun and had planned to get my CHL soon. Well one month later in June I was involved in a road rage accident where the guy rear ended me and then got in front of my truck and slammed...

Re: Prayer request for my dad and family
Well I got a phone call from my mom today and the procedure went ok. They still could not give a diagnosis so they referred him to another doctor for next week. My mom said that the doctors today mentioned that he had some arrhythmia and that he might need a pacemaker, but its up to the specialist h...

Re: Location on the CHL Liscense
I ran into this same issue. Since you must put all addresses where you have lived for them to do all the background checks, including your school address, they will more than likely put your school address on your CHL. This same thing happened to me even though I put my permanent address as my paren...

Re: Prayer request for my dad and family
First off, thank you for all the kind words and prayers. It really helps me to hear them. As for an update....... my dad called me earlier after he went to the doctor and they said his heart is actually enlarged. So now he is going in on Thursday to have an angiogram done to see if there is any bloc...

Prayer request for my dad and family
Hello everyone. This is my first prayer request ever mainly because I keep everything bottled up inside but its getting to the point of overflowing now. I received a call from my mom this afternoon while I was resting that someone in the family was in the hospital. Being half asleep I didn't catch w...

Re: Couple Questions about CHL
P.S. Also forgot to ask. I have held numerous part-time jobs within the past 5 years, more than allowed to fill in on the Yellow Application form. It says "(Attach Additional sheets as necessary)" at the bottom of that form...Does that mean I need a photocopy of that format to fill out th...
