Re: Update; grapevine mills mall "30.06"
Maybe I am mis-informed... Are there still entrances at that mall that are not marked, not properly and/or mis-marked?

My point being...
People worry too much about things that have virtually no chance of ever happening. The statistical probability of carrying a gun past a non-compliant sign (or a door with no sign at all), being found out, being questioned and being (falsely) arrested instead of being asked to leave is astronomically LOW. In the million to one chance that it did happen, you would spend a few hours in the can and be realeased. Man up and deal with it. Otherwise, leave the gun at home.

Most of the "what if's" I have seen are tied to the idea that you could be asked for ID by a LEO for some reason such as being a witness to a crime, or a victim of a crime, etc...
If they did ask for ID, you would present it and be asked to leave the premises per 30.06 (a)(2)(B) . So leave.
If they arrested you claiming you had received notice per 30.06 (a)(2)(A), they would have to prove that you had been given effective notice under 30.06 (a)(2)(A) and, being that you entered through one of the many unmarked/improperly marked doors, they would not be able to prove that. Could they arrest you? Yes, they could. But, if your goal in life is to never be arrested, then you better lock yourself in a closet and never come out (and for heaven's sake, don't even think about carrying a gun!).
