no thank you, the Dem's can claim they believe in the 2nd amendment all they want, the bottom line is that they will do what the party tells them to do and the damage they would do to Texas on every other issue will take generations to fix. Every session anti-gun bills are filed by Dem's, elect more and let them grab the majority and they will become reality, I am not willing to even consider such a move and anybody who thinks that voting in more Dem's will help the pro-gun movement should look at all the anti gun laws that they have pushed across this country. Where would you like to start? New York, CT, Colorado?Cedar Park Dad wrote:Maybe more democrats should be elected who aren't against the Second Amendment as well? Re: Letter to Governor Rick Perry
I imagine that the 2013 session as it relates to firearms is done unless I have missed something. It seems that we get a lot of lip service from our elected officials claiming full support and then a vocal few stop the bills dead in their tracks and nobody is willing to go to battle against them. There is right and there is wrong..... then there is politics that clearly has nothing to do with the will of the people or common sense........ Guess I need to become a Cowboys fan so I can also wait for next year (session) time and time again.......................

Re: Letter to Governor Rick Perry
Since the NRA is only as strong as its members involvement I would ask what have you personally done to get your voice heard in Austin.......... WE need to have our voices heard as individual voters to the elected officials and the NRA can try to perform their magic behind the scenes, it takes both to be successful.........Richard_B wrote:I wonder what NRA have or will do to encourage the Governor to act on his statements.
