I am sorry you are having to wait so long. I hope it comes through soon. Go to the range and practice. Also carry around the house so you get used to the gun and how it need to be hidden.
It is worth the wait you're almost here!

Lost Gun
Turn it into the police for the following reasons:
1. It is not your property
2. It could be crime evidence
3. It may be reported lost or stolen and the police have a report with a serial number
4. It keeps CHL good guy reputation with your local police
5. It is the right thing to do

DPS Processing Times
97 days from the time DPS got my forms to the day the CHL arrived in the mail. I know I am a good guy because I sure wouldn't have this license if I had one issue. This is a good thing. I think I will open a business for CHL people only. This way I know I will always get paid on time and the people ...

Application Update
I just received a phone call from my state reps office, Tony Goolsby. They said they spoke with DPS late Friday and they were told that they were swamped with applications. I wonder why? Anyway, whoever they spoke with said that I will have my license by the end of October. I sure hope that is the c...

Contacted by Rep Today!...Gov too.
Well Tomorrow makes 90 days since my application has been in Austin. Based upon the feedback from many in this thread it appears that they get results when they contact their representatives. They have contacted DPS and get the run around and then after they get their rep's office to call an amazing...
