Re: Post Tramatic Stress Disorder and CHL

To elaborate a little, I have not been hospitalized for the disorder. I have been prescribed a low dose of Zoloft for it though. Basically I get nervous and my hart rate goes way up and I have trouble getting it down, but I have not lost control of myself or my judgment.

Post Tramatic Stress Disorder and CHL

I am a Gulf War vet from the 90/91 campaign. Currently I am applying for disability through the VA. They have officially diagnosed me with a traumatic brain trauma and post traumatic stress disorder. How does this affect my CHL status; which I currently have , and my ability to purchase firearms in ...

Re: Nice Range Day

We are planning a trip to the range because my CCL needs to be renewed. There is a range on the South side of Houston at Monroe and Old Galvesten rd that does ladies night on Monday. My wife and I have invited Led Jedi and his wife to join us and hope they make it. Its always fun to get together and...

Re: Last Christmas

I just wanted to say, thinking back on the situation; I was aiming low so that I could see if he was pulling a weapon out of his coat. If the pocket had been lower around his mid section, one that he could reach into and fire a gun from. He would have been dead before he got his hand in there. I was...

I just thought mine sounded cool. Jbird, when I hear that name it makes me think of the East Texas Jay Bird or the Blue Jay.

Re: TVMAX - Maximum profit, 0 Service

Clearly you were in the rite to pull you weapon and start shooting, or at least a discount on your service. The only recourse I can think of is to solder an electrical plug to the cable and send a good 110 surge up to their equipment.

Re: Soccer dad pulls gun on coach - Lubbock

Going off of the information in the article, I would say that he did not need to draw a weapon to defend his life for just a push. If a man was yelling at my wife, I would do what ever it takes to draw his attention to me. It will of course be up to what the witnesses say to determine if he was in a...

Last Christmas

Just before Christmas, my family and I were confronted with a situation that escalated very quickly causing me to draw my pistol on what appeared to be a 15 year old. We were living in a low income area and not to nice of apartments, but hey it was cheep and close to the sick mother-in-law. Around 9...
