Re: Quandry - What to Do?

Perhaps find a new place of employment where your employer is ok with you carrying a firearm? Otherwise it is their company, and you should respect the rules.

Re: Would you go through more CHL training?

I would be happy to if it would allow me to carry nationally. My driver's license is valid in every state partly because all states require similar training to drive a car. The same can't be said of licenses to carry. People are concerned about the "redneck" who has little if any training...

Re: SCOTUS Nomination

I was watching her on CNN and they said that her statement was not as you typed it. She basically said that she would hope a latina woman would make a better decision than a white man who had not had the experiences. We are also taking things out of context. We don't know what the question was or th...

Re: Concealed carry at work

And you are often asked to sign a document stating that you agree to those rules and understand them as well. If you do not, well you are more then you are...

Re: Questions about background check....

I actually checked the Texas DPS website and it says that you do not need to reveal any expungements. Here is the information: For the purposes of this section, an offense under the laws of this state, another state, or the United States is: 1. A felony if the offense is so designated by law or if c...

Re: Questions about background check....

Thanks for the information. So I just have to get something from the arresting agency? What if they have no record of it? I know that when a friend of mine on the police department ran my information, only one thing came up. He said that there was nothing else on my record. I am going to have to fin...

Questions about background check....

Hello all. I am possibly moving to Texas for graduate school. I had a couple of questions about the Texas CHL laws. Particularly the background check. A few years back I was quite a hell-raiser and a little punk. I was arrested for unauthorized use of a credit card (in 1999), criminal damage to prop...
