ROBBERY PREVENTION / TIPS
• If confronted, try to stay calm. - That way the criminal will never see it coming.
• If a suspect says they have a weapon, do not force their
bluff. -Shoot them dead, er I mean until they stop.
• When facing someone wielding a weapon do not resist,
cooperate. -cooperate with the investigators when they question you for shooting the criminal.
• Never try to apprehend a suspect yourself. It's easier to leave them laying in a pool of their own blood.
• Mentally note the assailant’s appearance without staring. - Son you got a panty on your head.
• After the confrontation, go to the phone and dial 9-1-1 as
soon as possible. Take your time if the criminal isn't dead yet. It saves tax payer money if the ambulance doesn't have to take him to the ER
• Robbers usually ‘case’ their target so look for people
loitering in a parking lot or acting nervous or ‘just not right’. Make sure you post your PRO Gun stickers where they can see them.
• Display height markers for identifying suspects. - It also helps to determine if your shotgun is of legal length.
• Keep small amounts of cash on hand if possible. - 2 quarters to put over the criminals eyes.
• Use a drop safe that is visible. - Once again, it is a place to put friendly reminders that guns are EVERYWHERE!!!!
