I have seen someone shoot the IDPA "style" match at the Arms Room with a laser sight..I do not think they care. The club is not sanctioned IDPA and many of the rules are not strictly adhered to.

Re: Arms Room League City
Lost brass means you are not allowed to pick it up during the match. The reasons for this are many, but include people chasing brass are generally not taping targets or doing other tasks to make the match run efficiently. The Arms Room IDPA style match is not a lost brass match as they welcome everyone to pick up their brass after shooting.

Re: Arms Room League City
Jim - It was great to see you! We have to do this more often. My current schedule is going to make me a regular on Monday nights until shift changes in January.

Re: Arms Room League City
I do not run the match or have any authority over it, but here are my observations. I am pretty sure they want everyone to attend a safety briefing and understand the way they do things. I have seen some experienced shooters come in at the time you mentioned and not have a problem. I have not heard anyone say one way or the other about the match being lost brass. It is a pretty fast paced match and most of the down time is spent taping.

Arms Room League City
The new Arms Room location is in the beginning stages of forming an IDPA club. They plan to shoot matches every Monday night. Safety meeting at 6:30 with hammer down at 7:00. Last weeks six scenario match was great fun. See you there.
