I ran into this problem with grackels. .410 is louder than a .22 but less than a .12 gauge for sure. That's what I started out with. Then I bought a Gamo suppressed pellet gun but it is louder than advertised. Noise will get you in trouble. My question is, won't a skunk still spray when it is shot?
