Re: Anyone have Glock shooting tips?

I keep hearing people talk about .40 S&W failures in Glocks. All I can say is that I stopped counting after 7000 rounds. My Glock 27 third gen has never jammed or KB! I have had bad primers on ammo but never a jam or failure to feed. Most or all KBs are caused from bullets seated wrong, reloads, people messing up hand loads or running stuff like Buffalo bore +P rated for barrels that are supported only (hence don’t run it through your factory Glock barrel). Also in my Glock 20 I had Blazer aluminum 200 grain cause major problems but I have never had a round jam in 10mm brass. I have put over 5000 rounds of 10mm down range as well. My S&W revolver had a light primer strike problem that the factory corrected promptly; my S&W third gen semi auto jams every 100-150 rounds like clock work (after it starts to get a little dirty it jams up). My Ruger P-95 is ammo picky with hollowpoints. After 5000+ rounds in my Ruger SP-101 it finally binded up a spring!

If I had a life threatening situation I would grab my Glocks or my Ruger SP-101 (if not close to my Remington pump action).

Order of my personal experience in reliability with my current hand guns.

1. Glock 27
2. Glock 20
3. Ruger SP-101
4. S&W Bodyguard
5. S&W third gen 908
6. Ruger P-95

Like I said just my personal experience!
