Sorry, that was off-topic from Costco and more just on gun policies elsewhere. Back to the subject at hand.
I agree, some reason must prevail. OTOH, one can always boycott businesses, places, events, etc. where their CHL/CCW, for whatever reasons, are not welcome.

Re: COSTCO Gun Policy

I wish I had a Costco with a Hearing Center closer to the home ranch in the Pineywoods. Costco's 1/4 pound polish with a soft drink for $1.50 is the best lunch deal in just about any town.

Oh, did I mention that I don't care about any Costco gun policy? They sell gun safes so they can't be too anti-2A, eh?

There's not a thing in there about firearms at all. I know someone linked an online FAQ page that showed it, but if it isn't in the membership agreement, I don't see how it's legally binding.

BTW, I CC'd there with no problems. After all, concealed is concealed.
On one forum, a person wrote that it was listed in a membership packet they received after joining. Dunno, I'm not a member.

There were so many people in the Costco in Kalispell yesterday that I couldn't have drawn my CC even if I needed to. It was like the crowd leaving a ball game - or something. AFAIK, I was the only one carrying even though Montana is a Gold Star OC state.

Only if you receive valid notice according to the laws of whatever state you're in.

I have absolutely no desire to ever go back to Las Vegas; however, I must of missed something that prompted the banning of Las Vegas media outlets?

On second thought, nevermind; I don't care.

Re: COSTCO Gun Policy

I remember a post of yesteryear wherein the UMC was shown to be officially anti gun. Did that stop me from being a Methodist?

Re: COSTCO Gun Policy

We went to the Kalispell Costco today. We showed our card upon entering, made our purchases and showed our card upon leaving. I didn't ask if I could CC and I didn't tell that I was CC'ing. You know why, because.......wait for it...hear it comes:

Re: COSTCO Gun Policy

I couldn't care less what their policy is. We are customers not employees. They sold us a membership, without qualification, that allows us to spend our money in their store. When they no longer want our money, they can refund the membership fee. What in the world is the big deal? ITMT, concealed is concealed.

Re: COSTCO Gun Policy

I bought hearing aids last month in the Costco here in Kalispell. The audiologist lady and I talked at length about our CC's and our CHL's. There is at least one Costco employee who is not anti-gun and one Costco Warehouse that is not posted. Montana is a Gold Star OC state, btw.

The only Costco policy I'm aware of is that one must be a member in order to make a purchase. This policy does apply in the food service area. About any other Costco policies, I know nothing.
