I was at the Museum of Natural History on the same city-owned land as the zoo about 7 months ago. There was no 30.06 sign, and I'm not sure I saw any "no gun" sign. I haven't gone to the zoo in over 3 years, so I have no recent information.

The Houston Zoo is a city-owned facility on city-owned property. 30.06 signs should not be enforceable, even if they are posted.
