Re: Utah CFP - Houston?
The address is 3121 W. Parkwood Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546 Here is a map link for PSC. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&g ... =addr&om=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; The class will be in the "blue building" next to the flag poll. The sign next to our entrance road is lost in the hurricane. The easiest way to spot the entrance road is by the 1,200' red and white antenna tower next to the road.roff wrote:ive never been to psc

Re: Utah CFP - Houston?
Tentative schedule is on Friday, October 3rd from 6:00pm until 10:00pm at PSC. I should be able to confirm this later today.
The fee is $70 and includes photos, fingerprints and notary signatures.
Please post something here and send me an email at Charles@TexasShooting.com if you want in the class. Since there is no range work for the Utah CFP, I can take more people in the class than I would in a Texas CHL class, but the classroom is limited to about 25 people with tables and 45 with "theater" seating.

Re: Utah CFP - Houston?
Sorry guys, but a trial setting and now a hurricane threw a monkey wrench in my planning. I'll still try to get it set before the end of Sept.

Sorry for the slow response, but I'm waiting on a scheduling response from the church. I'll try to post something by next Wednesday.

Re: Utah CFP - Houston?
I don't really have a minimum number, but it's hard to create a true class atmosphere with only 2 or 3 people. It's more like a couple of guys sitting around and visiting and it's been my experience that this just doesn't work well. I can't just go through the motions and hand out certificates; I want my students to leave any of my classes feeling like they really learned both the law and how things work in the real world. (I'm not saying you are suggesting otherwise.)
We have plenty of people here that want to take the Utah class, so I'll try to get it on the schedule in the next 2 weeks. It may have to be on a week night because of scheduling, but I'll try to make it a Friday.

Re: Utah CFP - Houston?
There's no range work for Utah, so it's a bit easier to schedule. Anyone interested in a Utah class in the Houston area, please post on this thread.TX_shooter wrote:Charles has been asking if there is enough interest in the Houston area to warrent a class. If we all bug him enough I am sure he would put one on the schedule. You can just PM him since he a moderator of this forum.
Thanks,
