Re: Star Telegram article on School Carry

I sure hope the school campus CHL carry thing comes through in the next session. I really don't like the thought of me or my children being in a "gun-free" zone. I want the ability to protect me and mine.

Re: Brady Campaign Desparate & Energized

I got my rebate coupon in the mail and next payday I will start my upgrade to NRA LIfe membership. I will upgrade my TSRA membership as soon as possible. I have my son and daughter as NRA members and trying to get them in the TSRA. I encourage everyone I meet each day to join the cause of FREEDOM an...

Re: Grip Tape...

I use the skateboard tape from Academy also. I have not had any issues with the tape. Even the gun solvent does not seem to affect it. Adding the tape really does enhance the feel and grip.

Re: Tactical Shotgun Build

I am looking forward to seeing your finished product. One thing you mentioned that got me to thinking is that you said there was a shop in Pasadena that does laser etching at reasonable rates. Who are they and where are they? I want to have some etching done to my AR-15>
Thanks,

Re: Steel Targets

Those steel targets are both enjoyable and frustrating. You MUST watch your sight. You will be addicted on your first run. I went with Jbirds on my first try and got hooked immediately. Just try it you'll like it. Eyes and ears as always.

Re: Seminar: Texas Self-Defense & Deadly Force Laws

The seminar was great!! It would be nice if every Texas CHL holder could attend. It brings a whole new aspect to the laws when they are explained by one of the individuals that help pen them.

Thanks alot Charles.

Re: Jim Pruett Gun Ad: Buy Cheap, Bury Deep!

We sure could use Jim on the radio and TV now in this election year to help get our side some time. I have been trying to "buy cheap and bury deep" ever since I found out that our election choice would be a Democrat or a Socalist.
More power to Pruett's Guns and Ammo and Jim Pruett!!!!

Re: buying a gun

You never want the government in your business. No way would I involve any paper work in a FTF sale, especially if I know the person to start out with. If you go to a dealer, then you are just giving in to the anti's and helping them erode our rights one small piece at a time.
We are still free!

Re: PSC IDPA Memorial Weekend

I am quite sure the missing was the gun's fault. The shooting too fast was just me losing my brain function when the buzzer goes off!

Re: They are waking up in Britain (too late?)

Just like they are trying to do here, they start out a little at a time and before anyone realizes, your rights are gone. Once they are gone you can't get them back. We must look at Europe and remember we can be next.

Any safe day shooting is a good day!!
We all had a great time! Even those of us who shot too fast and missed too much.

Re: Is it a good deal, or what?

At the gun show look at the AJC booth, I have found them to be the cheapest on nearly everything I have looked for. We also purchased a gun from the Gun Zone a vendor from Dallas that is usually George R Brown shows. Everything I price at Bass Pro, Gander Mnt. and Academy seems a good bit higher tha...
