That is funny!!
I solved the problem, I have all three, the AR for serious stuff, the AK for fun, and the 91/30 because it was cheap.
They all have triggers therefore they are enjoyable.

Re: CHL fatally shoots teenage burglary suspect
If I come home or to my mom's house and see the door kicked in, I am going in with my weapon drawn expecting to find some criminal inside. If I feel my family might be in danger, I will not wait for the police, they can come and write the reports later.

Re: Glock 19 VS SpringField Armory XD 9
I was sold on the XD the first time I ever picked one up. This was at the NRA Convention in Houston. I told my buddy, this would be my next pistol purchase. I have a 5" tactical and a 4" with ported barrel. My son also has a 4". We both like the feel of the grip angle and the indent f...

Re: The Gun Lobby's Loss
No matter how much the NRA tries to help get RKBA people elected, when the Republicans are acting like Democrats and bending to someone elses values (or lack of) then the Republicans lose. It is a shame that the so called conservatives have been leaning so far across the isle that they forgot who el...

Re: Where We're Headed if Obama Has His Way
All the more reason to be a member of the NRA and TSRA. We also must all take on the job of educating all of our peers and others that we contact. We must stay focused on retaining our rights. If we allow the left to take the 2nd amendment, then the other amendments are sure to follow. With out the ...

After all is said and done, a rifle is just a rifle. Just like people, they don't all look alike.

Re: "Assault Weapon" Letters to editor
It is amazing how many of our own help drag us down by feeding the liberals. I had to re-educate on of my managers about the "assault weapon" misnomer.
We sure need to educate ourselves as well as the sheep.

Re: Mossberg 500 equipment question
I purchased and installed the Spec Ops stock today. Ran most of a box thru it and it is wonderful. Barrel stays on target and the felt recoil is awesome. I even ran a couple of 3" magnum #2 thru it and they did not take my arm off like normal. I'm happy!! On to the next upgrade. Maybe a heat sh...

Re: Mossberg 500 equipment question
My next purchase is to be a Knoxx Spec Ops stock for my Mossberg 500. Theses are designed to reduce recoil. This is a collapsible stock with a pistol grip. Looks good on the video and I will soon have one to try myself.

Re: Anyone lose a gun in the Houston area lately?
Turn it in to the local police. I pulled a bone head stunt several years ago and left my pistol on the tool box. It rode well for about 10 miles and fell off in the drive way of a convience store. I freaked out when I could not find my gun and immediately called the police. I was afraid some kid wou...

Re: THe Newest DPS Excuse
I was not thinking that we are the only ones waiting, just thought the hurricane line was a strange excuse for the extended time period all applicants and reapplicants are facing.
I hope that the system gets streamlined in '09 so that no one gets a excuse letter.

Re: Kay Bailey Hutchison
When the left leaning politicians get in with the rest of the socialists, then they will follow the crowd and lean further left. Remember politics is about keeping your office and power. They don't want to step on any toes and cause themselves grief. I have a hard time with someone who will not answ...
