I went to the match at Thunder on 2-9. I had a great time! The match went smoothly and all the people involved were great. This was only my second match, but they all treated me like I had been there many times. Everyone did a great job!
I will be back next month for certain.

It is sad that this happened. We all should use this as an example of not getting complacent. Unloaded guns will kill you.

I have an XD 5" Tactical in 9mm that I have ran a least 2000 rounds thru with no adverse effects. I love this weapon and the way it fits my hand. I would buy anything that Springfield puts out.

I am sending a copy of the original post to everyone I know. This is the most basic explanaition of safety I seen in a long time. We all need to remember that complacentcy kills.
