Re: What have you planned for 2008? Not just guns...
This election year is going to be terrible. We will most likely have a choice between a socialist (democrat) or a liberal (republican). I can't say I will vote for McCain, but I WILL VOTE AGAINST THE SOCIALIST!! (Hilliary or Obama). It will be up to all of use to get the right people elected to the ...

Re: Forum Rule Reminder -- Please read!!
Hey if you can't follow the rules go somewhere else. The moderators have enough to do just to keep the site going. I don't want to see a few idiots mess up a good thing for the rest of us.
If you violate the rules you have to go home.

Re: Case cleaning question
Thanks Charles,
I am going by Gander Mountain today and see what they have on hand. Depending on what they have instant gratification may take hold of my senses.

Re: Case cleaning question
On the cleaning note, are all the different tumblers/vibrators about the same or is there a notable standout. I want to get the best bang for my buck, but not completly break the bank. I am setting up to start rolling my own pistol ammo so I can afford to shoot IDPA all the time. Any suggestions wou...

Re: IDPA at Thunder 2/9/08
I went to the match at Thunder on 2-9. I had a great time! The match went smoothly and all the people involved were great. This was only my second match, but they all treated me like I had been there many times. Everyone did a great job!
I will be back next month for certain.
Thanks
Jim

It is sad that this happened. We all should use this as an example of not getting complacent. Unloaded guns will kill you.

Re: New Carry Piece
I have an XD 5" Tactical in 9mm that I have ran a least 2000 rounds thru with no adverse effects. I love this weapon and the way it fits my hand. I would buy anything that Springfield puts out.
Happy shooting!!!

Make sure you join the Texas State Rifle Assc . and send in your donation so we can get more gun friendly items on the list for the next legislative session. Hopefully this will help move us into 50th place.

Re: 15% Ammo increase
I just ordered a Lee Loadmaster press kit for my 9mm. With the metal price continuing to climb, I must start rolling my own pistol ammo just to keep shooting. I already reload for my 30.06. You know I have just as much fun reloading as I do shooting. It is all apart of the culture. Plus you make 'em...

I am sending a copy of the original post to everyone I know. This is the most basic explanaition of safety I seen in a long time. We all need to remember that complacentcy kills.

That really puts everything into perspective. Everyone should read this and pass it on. Reading this should help anyone riding the fence to see the light and want to make sure they protect thier own life and family.
Thanks for posting this article.

Shooting Star,
Do you have the name of the author of "Black Magic"? Sounds like a book I need to pick up.
Thanks
