GREAT idea. Won't work in my vehicle - a 2015 4Runner. It might have room under one or the other sides of the split seat for a gun rug with a small pistol in it, but not for any kind of long gun - even a take down version. I've got to figure out some other alternative. Unfortunately, I'm not sure it is possible to find one without spending some considerable amount of money. I like the idea of those slide out flat drawers for the cargo compartment, but man....... $$$
