Ditto that, plus I would look at the Kahr CW9 and CW45. My wife has a Glock 19 and a CW9, and she vastly prefers the CW9. It has nothing to do with quality of manufacture, and everything to do with fitting her hand better and being easier for her to shoot well.A-R wrote:Has she considered the Ruger LC9? Also, the Kel-Tec PF9 is fairly highly regarded, and considerably less expensive than all of those other pistols you've mentioned.
The Ruger SR9C may be an excellent pistol. I've never shot one. But I can tell you from handling one that it is significantly heavier than the Kahrs or the Kel-Tec.....and for all day carry, that can make a huge difference—particularly if your wife is on the petite side.
