What is to stop them from using your CHL as a reason to fire you? They can't prove you have one until you give them the copy. A lot of this rests on what kind of company you work for, what your personal relationship is like with your managers and/or company owners, and what you know (beyond any reasonable doubt) about their attitude toward guns. If you have no real relationship with them outside of being their employee, you're taking a risk that you can't quantify.Keith B wrote:Also, the firearm is not licensed, you are. They have told me they will change it but will require me to provide a photocopy of my CHL to be kept in my employment file.
Any comments on them asking and keeping a photocopy of my CHL?
And, I agree with the others, see the change first and once there, then allow them to see you are legally licensed.
