Well, if it were me on that tubing trip, I would ask the outfitter. An outfitter is not likely to discern the intent of the question. For all he knows, you're just curious about the bus. For all you know, maybe lots of other customers ask the same question out of curiosity. It's an innocent question, but it will help you make your decision.
