Re: Trying something out
Been reading your MHI books I see........tacticool wrote:I hate my job. Let me start by telling you about the folks I work with.
First, there is this supermodel wanna-be chick. Yeah, okay, she is very pretty but she is completely useless. The girl is constantly fixing her hair or putting on makeup. She is extremely self-centered and has never once considered the needs or wants of anyone but herself. She is as dumb as a box of rocks, and I still find it surprising that she has enough brain power to continue to breathe.
The other chick is completely the opposite. She is a zero on a scale of 1 to 10 and I'm not sure she even shaves her legs. But she might be one of the smartest people on the planet. Her career opportunities are endless, and yet she is here with us.
But the jewel of the crowd has got to be the stoner and I don't mean Eugene. This guy is more than just your average pothead. In fact, he is baked before he comes to work, during work, and I'm sure after work. He probably hasn't been sober anytime in the last ten years, and he's only 22. He dresses like a beatnik throwback from the 1960's.
To make things worse, he brings his big dog to work. Every day I have to look at this huge beast walk around half-stoned from the second-hand smoke. Sometimes I even think it's trying to talk. Also, both of them are constantly hungry, requiring multiple stops for food. Every. Single. Day.
Anyway, we all drive around in my van and we solve mysteries.

My son saw it. Apparently, Captain America is a 1911 man. I love it already, and I haven't seen it yet.paulhailes wrote:I saw Captain America tonight, it adds an interesting timeline to the pending Avengers movie. It was a pretty good movie overall however I still like Thor more.

Re: Trying something out
How did you convince them they had made a mistake? For what reason had they towed it?LikesShinyThings wrote:Wow. That would be a surprise.... walk out to the car and there it isn't. Lucky it was their mistake and they brought it back so easy.loadedliberal wrote:Car got towed today, one angry call to the tow yard later they admitted their mistake and brought my car back! :
How did you know it was towed rather than stolen?
