Re: Best rifle for me, advice?

Light, minimal recoil, high capacity mag, wood stock and useful for self defense and fun to shoot? Sounds like an M1 Carbine to me, plus you get a piece of history.

Re: Sure is quiet here..!!

I treated myself to Christmas earlier this month by ordering up 8-pound kegs of H322, H-100, H1000 and IMR 4064, from Powder Valley. Now, if I could just find an Elf or two re-size brass, I can get some reloading done.

Re: FNAR or AR10?

I am a bit late to the party on this thread but if I could have a do-over, I would get an AR-10 instead of the FNAR I have. I shoot my neighbor's DPMS and I find it as accurate as my FNAR. FNAR mags run about $60 from CDNN, so I don't have as many as I would like. As mentioned by several others, dis...

Re: WTB stainless 5" 1911

I think you will be very happy with the "series 1" Kimber. I have a couple of 5" models and paid what is being asked for one and more for another that had some custom work. These are getting harder to find.

Re: WTS- KAHR CW9 & Milt-Sparks Holster CCW Package in DFW

I will take it all for your asking price. I had one of these and traded it away - missed it ever since.

I have a CHL, and I am in SW Fort Worth. I can do the deal (cash of course) any time this weekend. I will send you a private message with my phone number.

Re: STI Ranger II .40 REDUCED

Termpting 1911. I have an older Kimber (pre-series II) Pro chambered in 40 S&W and, as to magazine,s it prefers the Tripp Cobra mags, also made here in Texas.

Re: Kimber Pro CDP II .45ACP

Beautiful pistol! I have one like it and it is fine - but it does not have those gripps, which sets this one off.

Re: For Sale - Kimber Compact CDP II - Never been fired

If I did not have 3 similar ones already, I would have to get in line for this one. I especially like the Compact size for carry.

e-mail me your address and I will send you a bag. I shoot and pick up 308 but I don't reload.

Re: 9mm Ammo and Benchmade Knife for sale

You will trade that Benchmade for 223 brass and 308 brass?

How much brass do you want for it? I have approximately 1,000 rounds of 223 and at least 250 of 308. If that interests you, I can give you a count. I don't reload but I do pick up my brass.

Re: WTB: Ultra Compact 1911 - Colt Defender or Kimber

orionengnr, that's a good price on that Kimber. I paid about the same for an Ultra CDP pre-series II in November and it's a gem, 'tho it has more wear than what you describe. If I did not have one already, I would be doing some business on this. :thumbs2:

Re: Alpine Shooting Range

I bought a handgun there last year and there was no mention of anything free. Of course, the range fee is pretty reasonable at Alpine. It's the cost of ammo that keeps me from shooting more, not range fees.

Re: For Sale Kimber Compact Stainless

Too bad you have to part with this one, Dave. This is a great deal for a great pistol and if I had not spent my money a couple of months ago on a Kimber ProCDP, it would be mine. I was looking for a twin to my Kimber compact and I thought the ProCDP was as close as I would get. :banghead:
