Wow, if it could only tell the stories!

I can't believe how high the ejection port is- it looks way higher than the current crop of "mil-spec" 1911's. Put into perspective, just how much they cut out in a "lowered and flared" port.

Snag free sights- the Army was ahead of it's time! :lol:

For me- it's my STI 1911 Not a BBQ gun in the traditional sense but since I carry it often and I BBQ often- it's a workhorse BBQ gun! :lol: And since it's not plastic, it won't melt next to the fire! "rlol" :biggrinjester:
