buy a gun belt... beltman belts, wilderness trainer, something with reinforcements.. it will amaze you the difference a belt designed to support the weight and holster will make... i went from thinking i was comfy carrying to truly experiencing the comfort that can be had while carrying... get a REAL belt... the wal-mart, mall jobs won't do it.. get one designed for it.

as for the holster, your call.. but the ability for the trigger to have a snag as you draw is the danger, not it wedging in there and bypassing multiple softies... but your weapon firing as you draw.

if i can see the front of the trigger at any angle it's exposed and a safety issue... if the front can be reached by anything ever a twig while in the holster it's not safe...
