Has three magazines worth about $30 apiece, two leather holsters worth $60, and the barrel is removable for cleaning or exchange with a four inch one if you can find it. It is an extremely accurate fast ...

Back in 1977 we went up to Glacier Park Montana northern most lake to fish. There are park rules posted at the entrence...NO FIREARMS. Got set up in a camp ground with our camper Pu truck, we had 3 little ones with us. Ranger greets us and immediately warns us about the Grizzly bears in the vicinity...

This scenario might hold true in states like Maryland, DC, or New York...that you'd have to worry about reloaded ammo being used in self defense law cases. Massad Ayoob is probably responsible for this argument being a point of contention with legal sharks who would want to nail your hide to the co...

I have the Lee and RCBS roll and taper crimp dies, they work OK. But what is a bit weird on my part is the use of Lyman 310 dies for a really great roll crimp every time for the .44 special and .45 Colt caliber. Of course you have to use a reducer bushing to use the 5/8X30 dies in a modern press wit...

My reloading room is in the next room adjoining my bedroom. Wife gets a little testy if I don't keep it cleaned up and neat...don't hold your breath on that happening. ;-)

You fellows never heard of a 46?

There's the 460 Rowland still around. It's mounted in a Colt or clone 1911 model type .45 acp pistol.

.44 special revolvers with over-sized cylinder throats

Dad was shooten at some food and missed, no bubbling crude...so he loaded up the truck and move to Kalifornia to find work. (ala Grapes of wrath...just like the Jodes) But I regress...

Greetings to all. Nice to be on a Texas forum for two reasons. 1. I've had very good dealings with Texans on .44 special S&W revolvers and the restoration by Texas gunsmiths of same. 2.
