Re: Kerry to sign UN arms treaty
It does matter to me that Kerry signed the treaty. This is just another example of this administration doing exactly what they want, regardless of the true public opinion, and we are all expected to sit back and take it. You must take a few steps before you can cover a mile, and this group continues...

Re: 11-Yr-Old Suspended From School For Merely TALKING About
About 7 or 8 years ago I served on a committed at my daughters high school and was shocked back then at the control the fed's had over the public school system. Most of ot came about with the no child left behind bill. I never saw the benefit in the program back when Bush pushed it through, and even...

Re: Gun Safty Classes
Although I agree that training should not be required to exercise one of our rights in the USA, remember that when the 2nd was written firearm training for all youngsters was a given. Back in those days learning about firearms was a must, today there is very little if any training provided to young...

Re: Gun Control thoughts
I understand your frustration and intent. However, if you are going to write a letter to some government official or body, please perform a spell check and grammar check or at least re-read your letter a minimum of three times. There are several misspelled words and words that, while spelled correc...

Re: City of Houston Video... surviving an 'active shooter'..
I cannot remember the movie, but I remember the scene where the two BG's walk in to rob a bar. Turns out that it was the local LEO hang out. When they said this is a holdup, everyone in the bar produced a firearm. This would be the film someone needs to view. Perfect training.

Re: 2nd Amendment misunderstood?
If we can just cut to the chase. The 2nd Amendment is not misunderstood by anyone. I honestly believe that the most far left of the left really understand what is written. The real issue is that everyone wants to interrupt it in such a manner that will allow them to fit it into their own agenda. The...

Re: Dems offer gun-control amendment to cybersecurity bill
I read that mans tweet, and it made my brain hurt. All you guys did great coming up with all the facts and numbers. I am still trying to get past that part where my AR is so much more deadly than the rifles I use for hunting. Lets see, as I look in the gun safe, I have the 25-06 I use for whitetail ...

Re: In chamber or no?
Kimber when carried is cocked and locked Glock 36 always chambered. If you are trying to decide, try this. Make sure your weapon is empty, clip out. Have a good friend or family member stand 10 yards away, face 90 deg from their position, holster your weapon. Have them yell go, and start running tow...

Re: First carry
Yea, I have been carrying for many years now, and I still get all of those feelings. Heart racing, pulse pounding, head on a swivel, looks like evverybody is looking at me, measuring me up.
Of course I only have those now days when I am forced to go into a gun free zone, and I am not armed.

Re: Gun control legislation unlikely in wake of Colorado sho
I've read the above responses and finds it confusing as I imagine any citizen would. As far as the "gun control" issue is defined, isn't the theatre a co-hort in this mess? Doesn't the theatre post "no weapons/no guns" type signage that has to be followed regardless of the local...
