You may also want to check out the Springfield micro-compact 1911 in .45. I was looking at both the Kimber Ultra CDP II and the Springfield. They are basically the same size and have the same look. I went with the Springfield because it felt more comfortable in my hand (I think the grip might be a hair longer on the SF). The Kimber may be easier to come by though. I saw many of them at the last Big Town show.
