Heck if we go by the "12 stepper" definition of addict, anyone that ever drank, and then later decided it wasn't good for them and quit, is now permanently an alcoholic. Does the same go for users? If so then ,La Harris (VP) can never buy a gun. Lot's of people who ever used marijuana could never buy a gun. I never use illegal drugs, never had the desire to, because they were just that, illegal. I'm also afraid of them and what they might do to me. But I don't think every guy I ever saw smoke a joint in college is banned for life from buying a gun.
