Coin collectors here?

My husband passed away in September, and left a couple of handfuls of coins from various parts of the world--Mexico, England, the Middle East, Far East, Caribbean islands, possibly some from northern European countries...I called a local coin shop, and the woman I spoke with explained very patiently...

Re: CA Rep. Pete Stark - most honest man in Washington

The man's arrogance and condescension are breathtaking...I literally could not watch the entire thing. Surely he cannot be re-elected after such callous behavior toward the people he's supposed to represent...can he?

Re: Westboro Baptist Church

I've always felt that God has a special place set aside for those who prey on the ones unable to defend themselves, especially children and the elderly. I'm beginning to think He might also have a special place for Westboro Baptist "Church." Their First Amendment freedom is important; ever...

Re: “knife control”

I seem to recall reading somewhere (don't remember where) that, if you can stick a finger in the BG's eye and keep pushing, then wiggle the finger around a bit, you'll have a BG with a slightly scrambled brain...your manicure might need retouching, but that's life. I haven't had occasion to try it,...

Reader's Digest

I was standing in line at the grocery store yesterday when the latest issue of Reader's Digest caught my eye. Cover is red, guy all in black is pointing a semiauto at me, bright yellow letters read "don't be a victim." Had to bring it home, check it out, see if there was something that mig...

Here's a link to something my kid brother sent me...have I simply not been paying attention? There are additional links, and the original email mentions Snopes. HR 45 Bla ir Holt Firearm Licensing & 20 Record of Sales Act of 2009. Sorry, it's not the link (I'm not the most computer-literate pers...

I'm not sure where I'll be as far as chemo in October, but I'd love to go. I seem to recall Mojo saying that it was a really good time, and I always enjoy spending time with other shooters...they just generally seem to be a nice group of folks!
