How to handle a hug when they inadvertetnly feel your weapon

It happens.

Getting a hug during the holidays, from a loved one, co-worker, relative, someone from church etc. that you really didn't wish to make aware you were carrying.

How do you respond when asked "What is that ?"

I always go with the tried and true "it's my colostomy bag, sorry I didn't want anyone to know...oh no, I think it's leaking again..."

Stops that conversation cold every time ;)
