She doesn't ride the subway anymore, if she did she would be crying about the crimes occurring there.philip964 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 08, 2022 10:39 pm https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... mpant.html
AOC wins tonight. Says crime is down in NYC and objects to having police on Subways.

Re: Nobody but Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
There’s a huge difference between respecting your wife, mother, sister, daughter, etc and a woman who is a public figure and an elected official. A woman who has said and continues to say many vile, untrue and hateful things about the good people of this country who are not willing to go along with her Marxist dream for fundamentally changing our country into a socialist nightmare. A woman who will happily and without hesitation take away our rights protected by the Constitution.
Just about every woman I have ever known has exhibited qualities of being a lady. As a southern man I was taught to respect ladies. Until they cross the line of being unladylike and start spitting in your face.
AOC has never exhibited any characteristics worthy of my respect. Yes, she is a woman, but I do not respect her or her views.
I give all women the benefit of assuming they are ladies, until they demonstrate repeatedly that they are not.

Re: Nobody but Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
One of the reasons the country is on the brink of full blown socialism is due to the Republicans firm adherence to a platform of being nice and getting along, while the opposition has no such restrictions.Pawpaw wrote: ↑Thu Jul 23, 2020 8:44 pmThe sad part is that he isn't wrong.philip964 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 23, 2020 6:32 pm https://www.nydailynews.com/news/politi ... story.html
Apparently a Republican Yoho said bad things to AOC.
I hope everyone understands making AOC a victim isn’t helping.

AOC taunts Wall Street after comfortably winning the Democratic primary against Michelle Caruso-Cabrera.
Lord help us if this is the future of our country.

Re: Nobody but Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Implausible because if she was on the ticket as Sanders VP it would mean he’s running again in 2024 at the age of 83. AOC won’t be old enough until then. She should be concerned about surviving her re-election to the House.philip964 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 10:23 pm https://www.independent.co.uk/news/worl ... 60641.html
Honor to be VP for Bernie.
What nightmare ranking would this be?

AOC 'Pledges Allegiance to the Drag'

I hope that Michelle Caruso-Cabrera can end AOC's celebrity legislator status.

Not surprisingly...Conservatives blasted Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for appearing on the next season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” as a guest judge, where she's seen “pledging allegiance to the drag” in a trailer for the VH1 show.
The New York Democrat isn't the first lawmaker to appear on the show. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was a guest judge in 2018.
I hope that Michelle Caruso-Cabrera can end AOC's celebrity legislator status.

CNBC VS AOC: Former CNBC anchor, fierce critic of socialism to challenge AOC in Dem primary

Best wishes for a successful campaign and victory for Ms. Caruso-Cabrera.Former CNBC anchor Michelle Caruso-Cabrera is hoping to knock Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., out in this year's primary, as she runs to take New York's 14th congressional district.
A registered Democrat and descendant of Cuban immigrants, Caruso-Cabrera has been a fierce critic of socialism and advocate for free markets. According to CNBC, she filed to run late Monday.
Her 2010 book -- titled "You Know I'm Right: More Prosperity, Less Government" -- calls out both parties for ignoring "fiscally conservative, socially liberal" Americans like herself.
She has praised former President Reagan's economic policy and called for limited government, likely putting her at odds with Ocasio-Cortez's large-scale plans like the "Green New Deal." Ocasio-Cortez, who supports "democratic socialism," has faced other challengers for 2020, but Caruso-Cabrera seemed to be the most prominent to announce. Her website describes the race as "MCC vs. AOC," referring to the initials commonly used to describe Ocasio-Cortez.

Maybe she should just give up and jump off the Brooklyn Bridge!surprise_i'm_armed wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 3:46 pm She makes $174,000 a year. Her payment was for only $1,237.16.
I believe if most of us made 174K a year, that loan would have long ago been paid off. Just sayin'.
$1,237.16 is .007% of her yearly salary.
Even paying off the entire $20,000 remainder would only be 11.49% of her yearly salary.
Since her re-election isn't looking very sure, she should hop on that balance like a duck on a june bug.
Maybe she should call Dave Ramsey and he could help her prioritize. :-)
