Re: 2019 New LTC Processing Timeline...
It has absolutely taken longer than 60 days. I still don't have my plastic yet. It finally went to mailed status this morning so I should have it by the weekend.jaimeandrade wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 6:57 pmTrue. When she gave me a date that was 1 and a half weeks after in turned green I was like huh. But you are correct. It's better to call and get the exact date they started and count from there. Lady told me it would be somewhere around end of April. BUT there's some people that were taken over the 60 day mark so who knows.BigNee43 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 12:58 pm Part of the issue though is the fact that the day you receive your confirmation email is not the day the actually start processing your application. For example, I received my confirmation email on 1/28/19 but when I called they told me that the did not begin processing the application until 2/5/19. My wife submitted hers on 3/28/19 but they just started processing it on 4/10/19.

Re: 2019 New LTC Processing Timeline...
I received my confirmation email on 1/28 as well. I am yet to receive my LTC. What I find hilarious is that I mailed the application for my Arizona license on 3/12. They mailed it back to me because the needed the instructor's NRA number. I resubmitted the Arizona application on 3/29 and I received my license in the mail today. Texas DPS is a joke.CMS350 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 4:54 pm 01/28- Applied for Texas LTC, Also received confirmation email same day.

04/10- Background check green, print pending
04/13- Mailed

75(ish) days in total.

Re: 2019 New LTC Processing Timeline...
I finally went to print pending status this morning. I contacted the state representative and his director was useless and made no effort to help me. I ended up contacting DPS and asking for information to file a complaint. Lo and behold, less than 2 days later my status changes.

Don't send anything. I just got off the phone with a DPS rep. I sent in my LTC100 documentation on 1-26-19. I received the confirmation email on 1-28-19. When I contacted them on 2-6-19, they told me that the began processing my application on 2-5-19. I sent them my disposition paperwork on 2-12-19 thinking it would speed up the process. Ha! The rep that I just spoke with said that it started my processing timeline over on 2-14-19.

1/18/2019 - all documents recieved
1/21/2019 - background and fingerprints under review
Print pending still as of 2/27/2019
Did have a misdemeanor class b for criminal trespass in 2013 for riding a dirt bike on private property.
Fingerprints finally turned green this morning.
Background still under review.
On day 49 or 7th business week.
Spoke to a representative and instead of using the typical 60 day response, he told me 8 business weeks.

I'll bet our applications are just sitting in a pile on someone's desk already approved but just to torture us they let them sit. When the "8th business week" arrives, then they say okay we will send it to be printed. They are just going to make us wait the time out regardless.

Re: 2019 New LTC Processing Timeline...
It looks like those of us with anything on our background are getting to wait a little longer than those with clean records.Mashirley35 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 26, 2019 4:51 pm I did not. It asks on the app when the date was and etc.... But nothing about sending disposition paperwork. I called. A few weeks ago and spoke to a woman and she said nothing was needed and to just wait.

Mashirley35 did you submit disposition paperwork with your original application?Mashirley35 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 24, 2019 6:07 pm Hello....My wife and I submitted all paper work and prints Jan 28 2019, and she has received her license on Feb 14th. Mine on the other hand is still under review. Granted my wife is 24 and has a clean record, she has moved quite a few times in the last 5 yrs along with multiple jobs. Im starting to think that doesnt matter too much. Me, on the other hand, 35 yrs old, has moved 3 times in 5 years, same job for 8 yrs...The only thing is I had a DUI 7 yrs ago which was reduced to Obstruction in the highway. Would that be delaying my review right now?

Re: 2019 New LTC Processing Timeline...
I am in the same boat. I submitted my LTC 100 on 01/26/19. I got the confirmation email on 01/28/19. I didn't initially send the disposition of a 2006 public intoxication arrest. I decided to go ahead and send in that information yesterday (2/13/19). So we'll see how long it takes now.

Re: 2019 New LTC Processing Timeline...
I have a question for you all. Do you think it is necessary to send dispositions of arrests that are more than 10 years old. I was arrested for public intoxication back in 2006. I pled no contest and paid a fine. I did not submit any paperwork when I filled out my application for my LTC. However, I listed the arrest. Do you feel that my application will be delayed since I didn't send the paperwork?
Have any of you chosen not to submit the paperwork and still been approved?
