I would think animals are a different kind of property since they are living breathing creatures. My fear is that if someone tries to steal my dog, it's not because they want him as a pet. They want to use him to train fighting dogs or to hurt him. With that said, I guess I would take my chances at ...

I would protect my dog from another animal with deadly force without a doubt. But pointing a weapon at an animal is a lot different in the eyes of the law than pointing your weapon at another human being. I am concerned about that aspect. If a person comes into my yard with intent to harm or steal m...

Protecting Animals with Deadly Force
What rights do I have to protect my animals? Scenario - someone comes into my yard to attempt to hurt / kill / steal one of my dogs. My dogs are like my children and I know what I would do if someone came onto my property to abduct my child. Needless to say, that person would have a date with a blac...

I don’t care where you go, how many guns you’ve got, or how good a shot you are — you’re a dead man. Let me repeat again — you’re a dead man. I am alive and well. Oh, and on a side note: If you shoot and kill a gang member, especially in self defense, the cops will shake your hands and ...

I used a bar as an example only. I would never carry a gun into a bar. I know for a fact that they are off limits. I should have clarified that better. I was talking more about missing a sign that was posted. I walk past doors all the time and I don't now if there was a sign posted near it. Granted,...

Illegally Carrying but have CHL
I am about to go take the course and get my CHL. One thing that has been on my mind is this. And before I continue, I have every intention of following the rules. BUT, crazy things can happen. 30.06 signs can be missed and so on and so on. So I am in a place, with my concealed weapon and I am not su...

Well, I have tried to track my information down and I am having absolutely no luck. So, I think I am just going to be as detailed as possible on my application and if it takes longer, it takes longer you know. Hopefully I won't have any issues getting approved, so wish me luck !! Thanks again for al...

Maybe I am wrong in saying this but if someone was pounding and kicking at my door in the middle of the night, I told them to go away and they continued to kick at the door. I would pop a shot of at them. I am not going to wait till they come in and put me and my wifes lives in danger. If I feel lik...

I just put mine in the glove box and lock it. I have found that most thieves need a reason to break in. They'll break in if there's something in sight or they know you have a nice stereo or something like that. A thief isn't going to break into a car and hope it has something of value. Keep your car...

Assess the situation. You could also use eye glances to your advantage. When the BG approaches, look over his shoulder like you notice something, this will make him look or make him move. (Like you are looking over his shoulder) and at the same time you are looking to see what is behind the BG in ca...
