Trump postpones 1 million ICE deporting event.
These illegal aliens whom ICE was to have deported all have a deportation order from a judge. Their cases have been adjudicated and these judges have ordered them deported.

The President’s Constitutional responsibility is to see to it that our laws are faithfully executed.

The same DemocRats who lecture us about nobody being above the law are now encouraging illegals to break the law, again!

DemocRats shove Americans to the back of the bus in favor of criminals in the country illegally. If they had their way the entire United States would be one gigantic Sanctuary City.

I threw up in my mouth this morning when I read that this had been "postponed"...
Look on the bright side. His declaration that some rifle stocks are actually machine guns is still in effect.

Also with such a large gap between the supposed event and anyone hearing about it, there's no way anyone would be convicted of that crime no matter what public profile the defendant has. So what's the point?
The left expected this too work because they have had so much success with it in the recent past. It has all been civil so far, and in the private sphere with companies taking action against individuals, and others jumping on the bandwagon to help. Look at how many people have been taken down by the claims of sexual harassment recently.
It was disgusting how the Democratic Party gleefully used smear tactics and unsubstantiated accusations to try to prevent or delay confirmation of a qualified judge. It may be even more disgusting how Fiendswine and her fellow fiends threw sexual abuse victims under the bus for political gain.

7. Lastly, it looks like an all-out civil war is occurring with this political battle. Seriously. It really does look that way.
I see this as a strong sign that a real civil war is coming. One with both sides fighting, and by fighting I mean armed combat in the streets. I have seen our country being pulled apart politically, and I think this is by design. I think it is planned to lead to a civil war and a breakup of the US. We are falling right into their trap too, because we are becoming more strident in our divisions. I keep hoping we can avoid it, but I am more and more sure it is coming and unavoidable.

The two sides are both being controlled by their extremes and neither side is willing to talk or discuss things with the other side. Look at the protests that occurred after Trump won the election, even though there was no disputing that he had won. Now we get similar protests after a nomination. How soon until the protests turn into riots and spread around the country? I really want to avoid this and keep our country intact, but I am also not prepared to give in on my civil rights just to get to that point. If the other side is feeling the same way I do about their points, and feel it is their civil rights, combat is coming.
I'm also done being "reasonable" when dealing with domestic enemies of the U.S. Constitution. Like many people, for many years, I was "reasonable" and allowed my Constitutional rights, and my God-given rights, to be delayed, denied, infringed, and otherwise stomped on by thugs. I did this because I believed, as wrongly as England in 1938, that compromise was the best approach. However, in the past twenty four months, that was proved false beyond any shadow of a doubt.

Therefore, there's no reason for future appeasement. No reason for more compromise when it comes to my rights. I will no longer heed calls to be "reasonable" when facing unreasonable assaults on my liberty. The ball is in their court.

CNN, Trump's disasterious week.
You don't actually read that excrement do you?
Know your enemy.
Doesn't take much these days to know who they are and what they are about. Just open your eyes.
That kind of thinking has been the downfall of many leaders. The truly successful leader studies his enemy, learns his tactics and how he thinks. Only then can he develop a solid strategy to defeat him. Any less and he's stuck in reaction mode and lives behind the power curve.
I'm not sure how viewing CNN helps develop a strategy for dealing with hysteria but if it works for you, carry on.

pbwalker wrote:Just a ramble here, but is anyone else enormously embarrassed with Trump as our president? I don't care what the anti's think, and I'm only speaking for myself here, but I cringe anytime that buffoon tweets anything. There's a certain decorum that goes along with the leader of the free world
I think he's a crass jackwagon but I'm not on Twitter, so all the twit storms are irrelevant to me. I don't think the United States should be Team America: World Police so I'm not concerned about the decorum some think goes with that role. I would prefer a POTUS to "speak softly and carry a big stick" but between a crass loose lipped businessman and a shrill fork tongued big brotherist, the former is less objectionable. In short, I think Trump is annoying but politically I'm more embarrassed by socialist lite (R) Senators than Trump.

If you voted Libertarian, maybe it's a good thing if the small government (R) break with the neo puritan (R) and the socialist lite (R) and the In Goldman We Trust (R) branches.

Census data shows approximately a third of homeowners have been in their house more than ten years. The median time is 6-7 years. Maybe buying a house was a lifetime decision when marriage was a lifetime decision and most people lived within 50 miles of their parents and grandparents.
philip964 wrote:You usually count on tax laws that have been in place for your lifetime when you make that decision. It messes up with your plan when the President decides to change the rules.
That's a problem when changing any laws, isn't it?

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Asian Americans are grossly underrepresented in the NFL and NBA. Meanwhile African American males are disproportionately favored in the ranks of professional athletes earning $1,000,000 or more per year. There is very clear economic inequality along race and gender lines in US professional sports.

Let me get this straight. They're racist and sexist and they hate America.

It's getting hard to tell the difference between the NFL and ISIS.

Meanwhile, today I heard a coworker say if Trump cured cancer, the Democrats would say it discriminates against people with a cold.
