Agreed, westchase is pretty affluent. But I don't know that westchase goes that far south? West of the beltway on Briarforest is one of the largest Katrina evacuee's spots. Anyone familiar with those apartments at wilcest and briar forest know what I mean. I lived in Briar Grove near seagler and westheimer in 79' when I was a little kid.seamusTX wrote:West of Gessner. Sharpstown mall shut down Jan 8th. Wonderful news. It's the kind of place where everyone is packing heat, 1% of them legally.

Agreed, safe as long as it is light out. Avoid at dark, even the resturants. There is a vietnamese gang problem (or was) and one of my favorite Pho soup places was shot up. Daytime, pretty safe. I heard sharpstown mall was shut down (or fixing to) thankfully.
