Received my LTC in the mail today. 18 days since I submitted everything.
7/21 App submitted
7/22 Fingerprints submitted
7/23 Submit CHL100
7/24 Email acknowledging uploads
8/02 Statuc updated, watiting for background check
8/05 Print Pending
8/08 Mailed
8/10 Received

The status page is only updated early in the morning. So no sense in wasting time checking it multiple times per day.

I suspect they batch up the printing of the licenses for efficiency. (Imagine that. Government interested in efficiency.) I'm hoping Friday is the day they print and mail.

Me too. Took three days for Background check. Now I wonder how long it takes to print and mail?

Today is day 9 since I submitted everything. My online status has finally changed showing everything green and now waiting on background check review. So DPS does seem to have stepped up their game.

On Friday, I spoke with a customer service representative to ensure they had received everything. From the conversation, it appears the online status check is not the same computer system they use. As she said, it is not always up to date. That makes sense. You don't want a secure system like that exposed to hackers. I suspect the status check system is just updated every night.

I waited 3 weeks to see any kind of change

I was hoping to at least have an indication that I have done everything I need. I accept there may be several weeks waiting.

I'm confused by the sequence:

7/21 - Applied online
7/22 - Fingerprinted
7/23 - CHL100 submitted
7/23 - Identogo "Enrollment Processed"
7/24 - Acknowledge documents received

But when I go to DPS site, it still says "Handgun Licensing is waiting on the receipt of required materials". Everything has been submitted but status doesn't change. Is there a problem?
