Re: Does having a fire extinguisher make you a fireman?
oljames3, Laughable as it sounds, you are going to find some here think so as they'll often start grousing and moaning if you start hooting with laughter when they argue this point 'why, yes, an LTC does make a one jr. leo, because not so secretly their nutty enough to think so... And wearing camou...

Re: Manager at Texas Whataburger denies service to detective because of his gun
The cop didn't have to disarm all he had to do was cover it up. Just like us of the lower classes are required to do. What bothers me is that people for some reason this guy is entitled more than the rest of us. I’m not a LEO but it’s seems logical if he has his badge on display he is representing ...

Re: Colorado taking first steps towards complete confiscation
Well the whole thread is moot, since the bill was shot down in the Colorado senate. But it will come up sooner rather than later, if not in CO, then in other places. I dislike things that remove our liberty, but in society we make compromises all the time. Or we could devolve to MadMax/Waterworld. ...

Re: That thing that never happens...it happened again
This case shows why these types of situations are so challenging. I read this part: The officers were told by the couple that they were on their way home when they observed a 29-year-old female being held at gunpoint by a male, later identified as Jeremy Cintron, 20-years-old of 21 Fairfax Road. Th...

Go to bed same day you get up.
Another reminder that, as any LEO will tell you, "nothing good happens after midnight."

Re: Machete-wielding man tried to kidnap children at Walmart
Walmart would do themselves a lot of good PR promoting these brave employees. Even with my G19, I would be scared witless facing a guy with a machete, but his horrific madness supercedes my fear....yes, I'm going to guns and face the consequences. I hope I would jump in to help as well. Would you g...

Shrinking can be an issue. As can untucking. Long thin cotton T. Not brand specific. It is more to act as a friction barrier than as a cushion or pad.

Re: Entering a “gun free zone” to stop or intervene during an active crime
On the other hand, people who disarm so they can shop somewhere with a 30.06 sign might make good New Yorkers. The majority of Texans over 21 who don't have a LTC make even better New Yorkers. If they don't think their lives are worth defending, who am I to disagree? I would love to be able to carr...

We eat our own don’t we. For goodness sake turn on Trump and get a liberal. If by "we" you mean Republicans, that's nothing new. The Republican Party has been biting the hands that feed them a long time. The only surprise is how many keep feeding the ungrateful beast. I voted for trump be...

We live outside any jurisdiction, city, town or incorporated area...We own over 10 acres.. Recently, a individual purchased 11 acres behind us.. Right away, he and some friends started shooting off high powered rifles.. I drove over there to introduce myself. I first noticed they were Shooting with A...
