I heard on here that it is possible that dps waits until there are a certain amount of LTCs ready to print before they print and mail them. I'd never thought about it before but it seems very likely. I'm gonna do my first run with the plastic tonight. Going to see "Suicide Squad" at one of the LTC friendly theaters in my area. Maybe do my wally walk tonight after. It won't be a "real" wally walk though cause I don't plan on buying a box of ammo.

Yea I'm very happy with the timing.

My LTC has been "print pending" for about 2 days. I think DPS needs a new printer.

I got that one time when I called in the evening around 4 pm. I think this may mean that they have too many people on hold. I'm not 100% sure. From my experience the best time to call is before noon. My shortest wait time was when I called right after they opened.

Well my dps page finally shows all green except for background review. It's been 7 days since dps received my supporting documents.

Called DPS again today and spoke to the same lady from the previous conversation who seemed less than amused that I called her again lol. She said that my application was being processed now. Good news.
