it sure leaves one wondering about that incident. I guess we need to wait and see if any more information comes out about it.

Re: Paris: Mass stabbing 2 dead. Started with knife, ended with gun
But the French Sheeple praise the police for responding in less than five minutes to save them from this knife wielding terrorist. So the terrorist wandered around trying to knife or slash other people that entire time before the police arrived.

Re: Franklin Armory coming out with non-NFA 11.5” AR variant
BBYC, The only time I've seen Segways was mall cops riding them and I always get a big laugh. There's some goofy stuff out there for sale and yes, maybe even a bit of use for some of it, but mostly hype is hype is hype... I have seen the police using them at various events before. So other PDs are ...

It may be using an oval barrel like that Russian gun that was made for Russians recently. They use an oval barrel that has a twist to it to impart the spin.... This? Re: Franklin Armory coming out with non-NFA 11.5” AR variant
It may be using an oval barrel like that Russian gun that was made for Russians recently. They use an oval barrel that has a twist to it to impart the spin. it isn't good enough for precision accuracy. It would work for short ranges. But with a short barrel the gun is more for indoor shooting like i...

Re: Honest using rifle/ truck rifle ?
When I was young and working on some farms and ranches at the time, I used a little 6.5 Carcano carbine and a 12 gauge bolt action shotgun as my truck guns. That was way back before the Ruger mini- came out. Heck we used to go to high school with the guns on the rear window rack in our pickup trucks...

Re: Another pawn shop find
Nice find. Congratulations. The H&R guns are decent guns. You did quite well. it will be a pretty good shooter. Towards the end the H&R guns were getting cheaper and maybe the quality wasn't as nice, but they still functioned well and worked OK.

Re: Tritium Sights - How Effective?
I had the Tritium sights put on my .357 Revolver back when I was a police officer years ago. The sights worked pretty good at night. But I never had to use them in a situation though. But after several years they faded out and turned back into normal sights. Since I don't do police work anymore, I d...

Re: chl holder robbed
It sure makes one wonder about the victim falling for these guys at that late hour at night. Lots of alarm bells should have gone off about this event. Walmarts seem to be a crime magnet anymore. Criminals just seem to love to target people out in the parking lot at night at the Walmarts. The crime ...

Re: Interesting Psychology: Open Carry & The Weapons Effect
Some of these studies do seem to show an increase in aggressiveness with a firearm present. The recent TV series "Through the WormHole" with Morgan Freeman had a episode discussing some of this. The Episode 4 series 8 "Is gun crime a virus"? I think that it seems to affect those ...

Re: Anti Asset Forfeiture bill?
It needs a due process system in place. Years ago it seemed like a good idea until they started abusing it and just seizing money and property for the slimmest of reasons. it turned into a "for profit" enterprise instead. So yes it needs some rules in place to help protect the people more....

Re: Fair Park Dallas
We went to the Dallas World Aquarium last Thursday and they had no signs up anymore either. I looked all over the place and didn't see any signs up. It is a really nice aquarium and zoo too. When we went to the State Fair last year, it was nice to CCW there. But they had a large police presence, so ...

Re: Arrests plummeting all across California
They actually did it to themselves with their liberal ideology. I also think that California is finally pricing themselves out of people wanting to live there anymore too. Gov Brown wants to raise taxes again to support more of his pet projects. Their liberal judges are letting criminals out as fast...
