I ran across a suggestion that instead of people destroying Yeti products that eBay should be flooded with them, allowing the people who want them to buy them cheaply and prevent Yeti from making new sales.
And then donate part of the money received from selling the used Yeti products to the NRA.

Re: Austin based Yeti quits doing business with NRA
Not direct contact, this info was in the TSRA email:flechero wrote:Anyone have direct contact info for executives at Yeti??
I think we need to really jump on this one... it's a local business and one that caters to our friends and markets of interest.
If they drop the NRA then we need to hit them in force with email and letters and or calls letting them know that we will support other brands.

I would go and get a bunch of stuff rang up and then ask them if they still support the NRA, then walk out when they say no.Steamboat wrote:I had planned on visiting their store while in Austin next month. I have changed my mind.

RTIC is the brand I have. If its good enough for Buc-Ees it’s good enough for me!LDB415 wrote:RTIC is every bit as good for about half the cost. Never bought Yeti and for sure never will now.

Austin based Yeti quits doing business with NRA
Received email from TSRA this morning saying that Austin based Yeti Corporation has notified NRA Foundation that they will no longer sell products to the NRA.
Alienating large portions of your customer base seems to be a trend with companies these days.
Well, the Yeti people can stick their overpriced products where their heads must be.For years YETI Coolers have been a hot item for sportsmen at the Friends of NRA Foundation Banquet and Auction events around the country.
These Foundation events raise money to support youth programs and educational programs nationwide. The youth of America who benefit from these programs are the future hunters, hikers, fishermen/women, bikers, campers, wildlife photographers, mountain climbers, sportsmen/women and conservationists who will protect our natural resources and recreational lands.
Suddenly, without prior notice, YETI has declined to do business with The NRA Foundation saying they no longer wish to be an NRA vendor, and refused to say why.
