Was wondering what number everyone was using to call RSD? I've tried multiple times to get through and just get an automated message then it hangs up. ANNOYING!!

Much faster than I was expecting, called RSD yesterday to confirm receipt of all necessary documents and the nice lady told me that it was going to print tomorrow (today, 4/29)....its even going to beat my stealthgear holster which was ordered the same day as I applied for LTC.

I'm starting to get very discouraged reading how long y'all have been waiting. I was all submitted on 03/21 and was very hopeful. What a daunting process!wking wrote:It must be a canned reply. Last Thursday, I got a message from the Governor's office that they had reached out to "Colonel Steven McCraw, Director of the Texas Department of Public Safety, for his staff's assistance in reviewing and responding to you and this office on the information shared."
I still haven't heard anything from Mr. McCraw or anyone else. The one time last week that--after holding for almost an hour--I spoke to someone at DPS, they told me that they had all of the documentation that they need.
All in 2/4. Still waiting.
