Re: Crypto-currencies
At work we accept bitcoin for our virtual/hosting services, it is nice as a vendor as there is no way to chargeback a payment. So it lets us accept signups from areas that traditionally have extremely high credit card fraud.

http://rules-saps.tamu.edu/PDFs/34.06.02.M1.pdf n this case.... The doc says; Campus - means all land and buildings owned or leased by Texas A&M. and 3. The open carrying of handguns is prohibited everywhere on campus. Licensed peace officers are authorized by law to carry firearms at a...

Re: Easterwood Airport College Station
"Easterwood Airport is owned by Texas A&M University (TAMU)." https://www.flyeasterwood.com/about-us/ So yes, I would guess that "campus carry" would apply, if so then no OC is allowed (campus carry only allows concealed carry not open carry where/when designated by the campu...

Re: FCC Internet Privacy Reg canceled- good or bad?
I run an ISP. Removing this regulation is bad for consumers. The only reason the big ISPs like AT&T pushed for this is because they want to make more money by selling your browsing habits to marketing companies. An ISP should act like a utility and make money off the service that the customer is...

Re: Green/Red chamber
I carry a springfield XDS and a springfield XD MOD.2 4", I carry chambered, both have the grip safety which provided extra reassurance while carrying for the first few weeks vs say a Glock. I like the grip safety as it is not something that I have to remember to disengage under duress (as my gr...

That's a democrat's preferred self-defense method because a 1 round magazine is too much.

That is very unfortunate, and this and many other reasons are why I only buy new from dealers.

Realtor/Land Agent for Williamson County?
I'm looking at a piece of land in Williamson County this week. Can anyone recommend a great agent to work with me someone who is familiar with land/minerals rights/deals? The realtor I have used in the past has never done deals involving minerals so I don't think I want him working for me on this de...

Re: Battle rifle???? Really?
When people on the Internet get bothered over terminology (clip/mag, battlerifle/ar/defense rifle) I assume them to be the grumpy old man running a gun store stereotype, and move on with my life.

Re: Central Texas College in Killeen has adopted two campus carry policies
Do they have the legal ability to require that? If so, that is crazy. If you're going to let someone carry a gun, let them carry it how they need/train to carry it.

Re: Do you wear gloves when cleaning your guns?
I use blue medical gloves that I was given and when they run out I'll use some cheap replacements. Plenty of lead and other toxins in our guns to be careful of especially with kids in the house etc.

Re: Gun was pointed at us. Should we feel safe ?
Here are the rules everybody is referring to; https://gunsafetyrules.nra.org/ In essence, the #1 rule is to never point a firearm at anything you're not prepared to destroy ("ALWAYS Keep The Gun Pointed In A Safe Direction"). If he's lax about the golden rule, then I wouldn't trust him to ...

Re: Austin members
IIRC Austin nabbed him from California which helps explain things IMO. Rather than shutting down unpermitted anti-trump protests after the election which blocked downtown streets for multiple days at rush hour, he walked with the crowds and had the police escort the protest etc. Him leaving isn't go...
