Another thing to take into context is she was the first officer to respond. I would have drawn my firearm also because you have a suspect not following commands and going back to his vehicle. If he pulls a firearm I'm ready to return fire. I don't wanna have a taser in my hand and he was a .45. It only takes a second to reholster and go non lethal.
I am surprised by this as well, I saw the notification on my phone and wondered why the rush to charge her. As I said previously stated, I hope they don't start charging LEO left and right.
