Sorry for the late reply. From my google search this is the best article I found.

All LEOs have seen the video of the deputy who was killed by a Vietnam veteran who retrieved a rifle from his truck because the officer hesitated. His death screams are bone chilling.

I would have drawn my firearm also because you have a suspect not following commands and going back to his vehicle. If he pulls a firearm I'm ready to return fire. I don't wanna have a taser in my hand and he was a .45. It only takes a second to reholster and go non lethal.
Thanks for the insight. I can see how have having both options would be advantageous. It's hard to speculate what was in her mind at the time, I would seriously hate to be a juror on this one.
Another thing to take into context is she was the first officer to respond. This is pure speculation on my part, but her being a woman and the size of the gentleman, I can understand why she drew her firearm.

Prayers for all involved, it's a tough situation all around.

I am surprised by this as well, I saw the notification on my phone and wondered why the rush to charge her. As I said previously stated, I hope they don't start charging LEO left and right. Their job is hard enough as it is.

Pictures online appear to show blood on a rolled up window suggesting he couldn't have been reaching in the window. Was this a justified shoot?
NO. It was panic discharge of handgun. Lack of training or unfit to be LEO.
I meant for future incidents not this one, no picture/video I have seen shows a window rolled down.

edited to add: I agree with Beiruty complete, based of of what has been released to the public.

I was in no way shape or form saying this LEO was justified. Sorry if it came off as that way

OK: Tulsa LEO Charged with Manslaughter

Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler filed the charges against officer Betty Shelby, who shot and killed 40-year-old Terence Crutcher on Sept. 16. Dashcam and aerial footage of the shooting and its aftermath showed Crutcher walking away from Shelby with his arms in the air.
