Graphic's on 30.06 sign?
chlsign.jpg Does having a graphic on a sign keep it from being a legit sign? I can tell you the letters are 1", and it's obviously english/spanish. I always assumed it was, but a coworker who recently took the class said the revolver in the upper left corner is a deal breaker? Thanks for any i...

Academy won't work on AR's!?!
Now this isn't coming from me, but one of my best friends in Wichita Falls, TX. Bought a new scope for his AR and wanted the guys at Academy to bore sight it for him. They informed him that due to what's been happening, they won't work on an AR... He didn't push the issue or talk to a mgr. Spineless!!

Free NRA Membership
I swear when shopping for my wife's gun I saw a sign/flyer/ect indicating with the purchase of a S&W handgun you were eligible for 1yr free.
However now that I got one (642 w/CT grips) I can't find that info anywhere.
Has anyone else see that information?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Corp of Engineers Lake
Hey, what's up Brad!
Yeah, my bad! But what's the saying..."I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6"?
Oh well...

Re: Corp of Engineers Lake
Wow, this is news to me! I've carried on Grapevine Lake before, but I didn't use a Corp's of Engineers ramp. I guess it applies to the entire lake body though? I also go to Ray Roberts alot, and have carried there as well. It's being leased to Texas Parks and Wildlife, but I'm guessing it still appl...

Taurus 851 - Crimson Trace?
My wife is getting the 851B2UL as her carry gun. I'd like to put some laser grips on it for her and I'm probably going to go with the Crimson Trace. Does anyone have any comments about the LG-185 vs the LG-385? The 385's have the rubber overmold, which would probably be nice...but this is primarily ...

Mine's pretty simple... My last name is Hoffmann, with 2 f's, and 2 n's. I find myself telling people that quite frequently...

So I'm selling a gun to someone in Florida. I do not need a FFL here if I ship it Fedex/UPS overnight. I just need to ship it TO an FFL in Florida? Then the purchaser will buy it from him... Just want to make sure I'm doing it right... For whatever reason, I was under the impression that it had to b...
