Aside from the huge crowd, it was extremely diverse - people from all races, religions, and sexual orientations came out to show their support. As we left the Luedecke Arena, there were probably 10-15 protestors right outside the door, holding various nonsensical signs. When we finally got out to Decker Ln after the rally was over, there were about 10 more protestors on the main road. I expected more vehement protestors in Austin, but the Trump team did well to avoid UT and to hold the rally pretty close to Manor, about 10 miles from the Austin Rifle Club.

We jokingly talked about going to a Hillary rally if she comes to Austin, which I may do, just to compare the size of the "crowd".

Were any other forum members at the rally in Austin? If so, what did you think? It was my first time ever attending a political rally of any kind, and I had a great time.
