I had to apply for a TWIC card.(Transportation Worker Identification Credential) The lady behind the counter asked for two government issued forms of ID. I gave her my DL and CHL. She gives me back my CHL and said that wasn't an approved form of ID. I needed my passport or my SSC as my second form of ID. I asked how can it not be a valid issued ID? It's not on our list was her response but if you happen to have an imate ID card, that is an acceptable form of ID .
