I have flown (Southwest) recently.

I used my own keyed Brinks Locks. I claim and show the empty gun at the ticket counter, put the locks on, and stand by TSA while the bag is scanned. After it is scanned TSA waves me on.

I have flown twice this way recently.

I don't understand why more holster manufacturers don't build in a "Sweat Guard" into their IWB holsters. It only makes sense.

I have had no problem carrying my Mini 1911 with a tuckable IWB holster. ( Galco SkyOps http://www.usgalco.com/ViewLargePic.asp?ProductSKU=SKY212B ) I use my cell phone to help cover. No one at my office has noticed. My wife didn't notice until we watched the Fox 4 story on CHL at the state fair. Sh...

Bass Pro Guns

They do have Guns, but mostly the full size guns. Their selection of compact models is limited and they have absolutly NO pocket guns.

They do have a good selection of revolvers.

I should also add that I was always addressing the officer with a respectful "Sir" at the end of most sentences.

Lake Dallas PD

I was pulled over in Lake Dallas for taking too long to slow down to 20 MPH in a school zone. When he turned on his lights I didn't see a place to pull over immediately and was planning to go to the next side street to get off of the main road. I could tell that he was irritated by the way he kept b...

The Galveston County Senior Citizen Center at 2201 Avenue L in the City of Galveston has a 30.06 sign in red letters on glass. This is a community activity center operated by the county. I can't see any valid reason for the sign. I guess the question would be "Is the Senior Citizen Center lice...
